About us
In 2004, Jay R. Armstrong, CET, created McCann Paving Inc. as a complimentary business to McCann Construction Inc. in Stratford, ON. In the Spring of 2014, Jay and his wife Liz purchased the construction company’s shares and became the sole owners of the newly named Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd. With over 30 years of experience in the asphalt paving indusrty, Jay has incorporated much knowledge, values and proven experience into this company. His resume includes a wide variety of projects from construction and paving of a section of the 401 near London to the construction and paving of parking lots and driveways. Liz has been an estimator and project manager at McCann Paving since 2008. Prior to joining McCann Paving, she operated her own busy landscape company for 9 years. As a landscaper, Liz designed and built gardens; provided yard and snow removal services; completed interlocking patios, sidewalks and driveways and provided various garden materials such as mulch, topsoil and sod. With the new name came some new ideas. Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd. is now a provider of various landscape materials
